father’s day ideas

Father’s Day will be upon us quickly, so I have a Round Up below of some fun ideas for dads from several creative bloggers. See if there is anything that you might want to do for Dad!

Dad, Share Your Life With Me Heirloom Edition and Grandpa, Tell Me Your Memories Heirloom Edition are two books that will keep giving way beyond Father’s Day. They are nice medium sized hardbound editions and the way they work is that each day has a different prompt that relates to their lives. Some of these kinds of things are hard to remember on your own, but when asked, it brings a lot of memories back. I love how they ask things that I never would have thought to tell my kids, but are just really fun to share. The books largely focus on when Dad and Grandpa were children, but also have questions like, “Why did you choose my name?” that bring them up through adulthood. These books are just wonderful keepsakes and it’s never to soon to start recording memories!

The Seven Year Cottage did a great job on these Family Ties cupcakes! With just some sticks of gum and candy as decoration, they turned out so cute!  I love the striped ones!
