mini-tiered cake pan

I thought this Chicago Metallic Multi Tier Cake Pan 4 Cavity-11.2, was so darling! It has a non-stick coating for easy release, which was my concern (only getting one of the layers out;), so that is really nice. My young daughters would love having one of these special tiny cakes for their birthday. So fun for weddings, also. I’ve had good luck with a simple frosting technique that would probably work well with these cakes. I microwave a ready made frosting tub and gently spoon it over the cakes or cookies. It actually works really well, and gives a nice smooth surface. Amazon says, “Carbon steel for durability, strength and superior heat conduction. Non-stick coating for easy release. Dishwasher safe.”
